My daughter turned 4 yesterday and I just don’t know how that happened. One day I’m taking this tiny little wrapped up bundle home looking impossibly small in her newborn clothing and car seat…then the next I’m watching her run around crazy with her friends…long legs and hair flying, big grin perma-plastered to her face.
When did this happen?
I love seeing all my children at each of the stages of their lives but I am, as always, in awe of just how quickly they grow. So, grow my beautiful girl and remember:
- don’t grow so fast that you don’t have time to enjoy each and every day to it’s fullest.
- laugh out loud and from your belly often.
- hugs are free and wonderful to share openly.
- always be true to who you are and don’t let anyone or anything define you. You are unique and that is wonderful!
- live your life fully and with no regrets.
- allow yourself to feel all emotions even if they make you uncomfortable…emotions make us human.
- smart is great! It’s not about how you look but what’s inside that brain.
- share your heart, spread your love and have fun!
Happy birthday Julia, I love you always…
